Snowfall warning still in effect for parts of region

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO -- Environment Canada says significant snowfall will taper Wednesday morning.

The government weather agency says the heaviest snowfall is expected to ease Wednesday morning, with periods of lighter snow continuing through this afternoon in some areas. 

Additional snowfall amounts of two to four centimetres is expected.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.

  • Savant Lake - Sturgeon Lake
  • Sioux Lookout - Eastern Lac Seul
  • Seine River Village - Mine Centre
  • Dryden - Vermilion Bay
  • Ignace - English River
  • Atikokan - Shebandowan - Quetico Park
  • Upsala - Raith
