IGNACE — A tragic incident on a snowmobile trail has resulted in the death of a 25-year-old man in Ignace.
He was fatally injured late Friday night when his machine struck a tree while he was travelling along an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Trail in the community.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased individual has not been released.
OPP are continuing to investigate.
