If you were not able to access your Facebook or Instagram accounts this morning, you were not the only one.
Facebook and Instagram were experiencing an outage in Canada and the U.S., with both requesting you to sign back in.
Some people also received failure to load messages.
As of 11:35 a.m., Meta appears to be back online for many users.
DownDetector reported only 25,053 outages at noon.
A Meta communications person shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that a "technical issue" caused the problem.
"We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience," Andy Stone said in the post.
