DRYDEN, ON - Two OPP officers were taken to hospital after an altercation in Dryden on Tuesday evening.

In a news release, police said they were among three officers who were attacked by an individual with an edged weapon.

Their injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening, while the third officer did not require hospitalization.

The incident occurred just after 8:30 pm when police responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Pitt Avenue.
