SIOUX LOOKOUT — A traffic complaint has led to a 57-year-old from Thunder Bay facing impaired driving charges.
Provincial police said officers responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver on Highway 72 on Saturday morning.
Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, which led to a determination that the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and taken to the Sioux Lookout OPP detachment.
The driver has been charged with two counts of impaired driving, and was issued a 90-day licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused is expected to appear in a Sioux Lookout court in September.
