EMO — The cleanup continues, but freight trains are moving again along the CN line at Emo, west of Fort Frances, where a derailment occurred Tuesday.

Fourteen cars carrying potash left the tracks at about 7:30 a.m.

Ten of the cars overturned, while the others remained upright.

CN announced Wednesday afternoon that train movements had resumed.

"Crews worked throughout the night to safely clear the site and will remain in the area as cleanup activities are ongoing," a spokesperson said.

There's no word yet on the cause of the derailment.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said Wednesday it has deployed an investigator to the scene to "gather information and assess the occurrence."
