KENORA — Ontario Provincial Police have charged the driver of a tractor-trailer unit following an incident in the Kenora area.

OPP posted a photo of the vehicle on social media early Monday after the operator was pulled over on Highway 17A.

According to police, the driver was observed passing an ambulance on the two-lane road while approaching a blind corner.

They said he told the investigating officers the ambulance was doing 90 kilometres per hour, and that was "too slow."

OPP noted that although the man was not happy to get tickets, "they are better than a collision."
