FORT FRANCES — Treaty 3 police say they’re searching for two men in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation.
Police said they’re searching for Jonathan Wade Bombay, 43, and Peter Thomas Atkinson, 34. Police have not yet confirmed the nature of the investigation.
According to police, Bombay is known to live in the Fort Frances area and frequent surrounding First Nations, while Atkinson is known to live in Couchiching First Nation and the Fort Frances area.
Both are “actively evading law enforcement,” police alleged.
A third man has been taken into custody in connection with the case, according to Treaty 3 police, but no charges have yet been announced.
Police said that anyone with information should not approach either suspect, and call Treaty 3 police at 1-888-310-1122.
