DRYDEN — A routine traffic stop on Highway 17 has led to the arrest of two individuals with multiple criminal charges.
On Wednesday, Dryden OPP pulled a motor vehicle over for violating a Highway Traffic Act, however, during the investigation, officers found cocaine, an assortment of pills and other items indicative of drug trafficking.
As a result, a 61-year-old from Dryden has been arrested and charged with trafficking and a 37-year-old from Dryden has been arrested and charged with trafficking and failure to comply with a probation order.
The two accused have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
