DRYDEN – Officers with the Dryden OPP detachment attended a disturbance at Dryden Regional Health Centre where it was reported that two intoxicated individuals refused to leave.

The OPP said one individual had left the area before the police arrived.

The other individual, a 44-year-old from Ignace, attempted to return to their vehicle.

Officers determined the driver was impaired by cannabis.

As a result, the person was arrested and charged with impaired driving, three counts of driving with cannabis readily available, and three counts of failure to notify change of address.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court on April 15.
