FORT FRANCES — Provincial police officers arrested one individual after receiving a erratic driving during overnight hours earlier this week.
The driver was reportedly driving a utility task vehicle (UTV) when police initiated a traffic stop on LaVallee Road North at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Through the investigation, officers determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and proceeded with an arrest when the driver resisted the officer's request.
As a result, a 39-year-old from Fort Frances was arrested and charged with driving while impaired, resisting a peace officer, dangerous driving, and failure to wear a proper helmet.
