FORT FRANCES – According to OPP Northwest Region, the Warrant Return project focuses on apprehending individuals with outstanding warrants.
As a result, 15 individuals were arrested and charged.
- A 31-year-old has been arrested and charged with refusal to comply and driving while impaired.
- A 36-year-old has been arrested and charged with two counts of drug trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained through crime under $5,000.
- A 40-year-old has been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000
- A 22-year-old has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, two counts of failure to comply with a release order, two counts of mischief, two counts of theft under $5,000.
- A 36-year-old has been arrested and charged with invitation to sexual touching, luring a person 16 by telecommunication, and assault to cause bodily harm.
- A 30-year-old has been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and assault.
- A 23-year-old has been arrested and charged with assault and sexual assault.
- A 58-year-old has been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
- A 21-year-old has been arrested and charged with mischief.
- A 37-year-old has been arrested and charged with four counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, breaking and entering to commit an indictable offence, failure to comply with a release order, and assault with a weapon.
- A 44-year-old has been arrested and charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and failed to comply with a release order.
- A 27-year-old has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault and mischief under $5,000.
- A 57-year-old has been arrested and charged with driving while prohibited.
- A 46-year-old has been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
- A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged with two counts of a surety warrant and two counts of failure to appear in court under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
