Family and police report being concerned for his well-being.

Vagnini’s intended destination and whereabouts are unknown, and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to phone police at 705-675-9171.

Lefebvre’s full statement is as follows:

We are all extremely worried by the news that Councillor Michael Vagnini is missing and there are concerns for his health and well-being.

These types of situations are very challenging and we all want to see a good outcome, one where he’s safely back with his family.

I know the Greater Sudbury Police Service is taking every action to locate him. I thank them for their diligence and focus on this matter.

I, and all of City Council, are hopeful that our Councillor will be found quickly and in good health.
