While on patrol, OPP nab impaired driver

FORT FRANCES — This weekend Rainy River OPP were patrolling the King'ss Highway 11 in Alberton Township when they initiated a traffic stop.

While speaking to the driver, officers initiated a roadside-approved screening device and officers determined the driver was impaired.

As a result, the 41-year-old from Fort Frances was charged with impaired driving

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances in November.
