KENORA—The city of Kenora informed its residents that due to the winter storm, there will be delays with snow plowing of streets and sidewalks. They indicated that the response time will depend on the amount of snow falling and blowing conditions of the blizzard.
With frost coming out of the ground, and with some roads not asphalt or hard top, the municipality clarified that these roads may not be plowed. Concerns with the risk of damaging the road surfaces is the primary reason for city roads such as these not being plowed.
During this winter storm, Kenora residents are asked to drive according to road conditions and to be patient.
