Brenda Joyce Boyle, aged 74, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on November 29, 2024, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. Born on May 12, 1950, in Port Arthur, Ontario, Brenda was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her, embodying a spirit of generosity and warmth that knew no bounds.
Survived by her husband Robert Boyle, children, David Boyle and Tracy (Derek) Ortgiese, sister Janice Paul, grandchildren Shaun (Tori), Carolyn and Shannon Boyle, Christina and Hanna Ortgiese.
She was predeceased by her parents, Estelle and Eugene Schoemperlen, and her sister Sandra Simpson.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
The family would like to send a special thanks out to Dr. Stallwood and the dedicated nurses in the ICU. We are forever grateful for your kindness and compassion.
Brenda's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony, where her family will gather to honour her memory. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
