It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Catherine Jane Lewis (nee Clapp), age 75 years and a resident of Glacier Ridge Retirement Home, unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Jane was born on May 10, 1948 in Fort William to Lloyd and Catherine Clapp.
Jane will be deeply missed by her daughters Cathy (Martin) Hynna and Lori Ellis; her grandchildren Lindsay Pozihun (Daniel Alu), Owen and Zachery Hynna, Randy Murray (Bianca) and Cameron Ellis; great-grandchildren Mckenna Murray, Julian and Sophia Alu.
As per Jane's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
If friends so desire, donations made in memory of Jane to any animal rescue of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
