Mrs. Doreen Gloria Muzyka (nee Gilkes), age 75 years, passed away peacefully in Hogarth Riverview Manor on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Doreen was born on May 15, 1948 in St. Peters, Barbados to parents Cameron and Barbara Gilkes. She married Roman Muszyka and they built a wonderful life together. Family was Doreen's biggest passion and she dedicated her life to taking care of them. Time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren made her most happy. Doreen will be deeply missed, but the memories shared will always remain treasured in our hearts.
Doreen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roman; daughter Natalie Muzyka (Daren Caplette) of Alberta and grandchildren Max, Kinsley and George. She was predeceased by her beloved son Michael.
As per Doreen's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Should friends so desire, donations made in her memory to Hogarth Riverview Manor (payable to St. Joseph's Care Group would be greatly appreciated.
