Elizabeth Margaret Telpuk (nee Grof) was born January 17, 1965 and she passed peacefully with her family by her side on March 12, 2025 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Liz was caring and had a loving soul. She loved to cook for everyone and nobody ever left her home with an empty belly. Making delicious meals for her friends and family was her love language and we will all miss her cooking. She was a constant source of laughter and joy in our family. She loved camping, dancing, gardening, a cold beer and her cat, Misty Blue.
Liz is survived by her daughter Kristy-Lyn (Mike) and grandchildren Preston, Paige, Jersey, Dallas Jr and Kaelen. Her siblings, Les (Barb), Maryann, Johnny (Libby), Pam (Monty) will all miss her love, guidance and the many phone calls throughout the day. Liz also leaves behind her nieces and nephews Shainah, Nicole, Freedom, Edwin and Quintin as well as Lacey and Logan.
We will all miss her deeply and we smile knowing she’s a spirit in the sky.
Lizzy was predeceased by her husband Dan Telpuk, son Steven Telpuk and daughter Cortney Czebieniak. Her parents Delores and Joseph as well as youngest sister Lila-Mary were also there to meet her at heavens gates.
Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:30 pm at the Blake Funeral Chapel, 200 May Street S., with Rev. Michael Mahoney presiding. Special thanks to her best friend Bernadine as well as the amazing Doctors and ICU staff at TBRHSC. In lieu of flowers please donate to Toronto Sick Kids hospital.
