Joseph Patrick David Gareau, 70 yr. old, passed away peacefully in ICU on Dec. 4, 2023.
He was a welder and licensed automotive mechanic for many years, until a motorcycle accident left him unable to do much.
He will be greatly missed by wife Marlene, son Tyson Gareau, Atikokan, Step-daugher Patricia Figueira (Jose), Step-son Mark Fiegehen, grandchildren Samantha and Amber Figueira, Kaitlyn and Ella Fiegehen, and he loved to brag about his great-grandson Oliver(OT) Foy, Atikokan and parents, Henri Gareau and Joyce Gareau, deceased.
Joseph and his wife loved to travel and spent much time in Arizona.
Thank-you to Thunder Bay Regional hospital and ICU for all their caring work. They are a great team.
