It is with great heartfelt sadness that the family of Ryan Peter LeGourrierec announce his sudden and tragic passing at the age of 31 on Aug. 30, 2024.

Ryan was born on Aug. 1, 1993 in Thunder Bay where he resided all his life and attended school.

Ever since he was able to walk, Ryan loved the outdoors no matter the weather. He enjoyed hiking, biking, fishing, camping, barbecuing, sitting by a fire, or even just sitting and enjoying the sun shining upon his face.

This past summer he spent the majority of his time with his daughter Tianna taking her on daily walks by the trail, teaching his forever babies to ride their bikes or scooters.

Ryan had a heart of gold and always had a smile. He had a goofy way at times and always wanted to make someone laugh or smile.

He would give you the shirt off his back, or defend anyone in the blink of an eye.

Ryan was a very hard worker and always put 100 per cent in everything that he did.

He was also so very proud about his last job at Kewit where he was a crane rigger.

Ryan also loved to spend time with his dad building things in the backyard.

Ryan will be sadly missed his father Robin (Line), his mother Teresa (Cam), his big brother Mike, grandmother Anita Schick, his soulmate Shandy (her father Lawrence), his daughter Tianna, three forever children Fayte, Aurora, and Shaun.

He will also be missed by uncles Rene LeGourrierec and Steve Schick, aunts Rhonda Wilen and Andrea Schick, numerous cousins, close friends and anyone that crossed his path.

Ryan was predeceased by his grandfather Barry Schick and his grandmother Ruby LeGourrierec.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at The North End Recreation Centre on Sunday, Sept. 15 after 4 p.m.

All friends and family are welcome.
