It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Koski (MacDonell) at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on January 25 at the age of 81 years.
Sharon was born in Fort William and later resided in Geraldton and Longlac after her marriage to Barry Koski.
Her children, grandchildren Shayna and Nicholas, and especially her great granddaughter Naiya were the focal point of her life.
Sharon is survived by her children Cindy Lavoie (Danny), Scott and Kevin, her siblings Lorraine Tashiro (Jim), Ron MacDonell (Dot), Jack MacDonell (Liz) and Terry Hibberd, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her husband Barry Koski, her parents John and Wilma MacDonell, and her brother Ken.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations in Sharon's memory to the Lung Health Foundation (lunghealth.ca) would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
