It is with great sadness that the family of Vladimiro (Laddie) Lora announces his sudden passing on January 20, 2025. in Collingwood, Ontario.

Laddie was born in Valdagno, Italy on June 27, 1951. He came to Canada in 1956 with his parents, Giuseppe and Cosma (Bee) Lora and sister, Vally Cook.

Laddie thrived as an Electrical Wire Sales Specialist for over 25 years. He was very passionate about his career. When he had his mind set on a task he would go all in. There was no stopping him.

He had a love for life that would make everyone he came upon feel welcomed and want to be in his presence. He always put everyone's happiness as a priority above all else. He made us all laugh even when he wasn’t funny. He had the biggest heart, family meant everything! Whomever was in need he would drop everything and be there for them. He would always say it straight forward and give the best guidance.

Laddie would spend his free time watching sunsets on a deck at his cottage beside his wife, Mary Ann. Most of his time was with his most beloved dogs. He also loved to golf.

Laddie is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Mary Ann Masters. His sister Vally Cook. His nephew Liam Cook. His children David Lora (Michelle) and Lindsey Hounslow (Derek) and Brandon Masters. His grandchildren Madison and Serena Hounslow, Quinton and Xaiver Douglas, Ayden Masters. His Zia Germaine Sartori with daughters Denise Sartori, Alessandra (Fabio) with (Anna) and (Sofia) Grigolato. His Zio Mirto (Gilda) Bee with sons Fabrizio (Alessia) with (Alessandro) and (Matteo) Bee, Mike (Christine) with (Luca) Bee; and daughter Daniela (Francesco) with (Andrea) and (Elisa) Ordinati. He will be greatly missed by his family and dogs. Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. In honour of Laddie the family has requests that you please do not send flowers, instead make a donation to the Canadian Liver Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle
