In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Allan Stockla

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Allan Stockla on March 11, 2025. Jeff departed this world at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer. As a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, he touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity and remarkable spirit.

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Jeff attended Westgate Collegiate. He took great pride in his work at Metro where he was loved by co-workers and customers alike.

Jeff's passion for the outdoors defined much of his life. He found true peace and joy in nature, particularly while camping and fishing. He was happy around a campfire, grilling up some freshly caught fish and gazing at the stars. His skill as an award-winning pool player was legendary among friends and competitors. Jeff was also known for his exceptional cooking skills, creating delicious meals that he loved to share with family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Susin, daughter Amanda, stepdaughter Kat and stepson Anthony. He also leaves behind his loving mother Lorraine (Paul), sisters Sandra (Michael), Debra (Chris), Sharon (Kerry), and Mary (Brian), brothers Robert (Cindy), Kenny (Gordana), Jerry (Trish) and Roy (Debbie), along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Jeff. He was predeceased by his father Rudy and sister Janine.

Jeff's fun-loving character will forever remain in the memories of all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the cherished moments shared with family and friends.

A private family funeral is being held. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer in honour of Jeff Stockla would be appreciated: https://supportthepmcf.ca/ui/Ride25/p/Chanel2025.
