February 26, 1958 – March 9, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Leslie Holmes, age 67, unexpectedly in his home on Sunday March 9, 2025. Ronnie was born in Winchester, Ontario on February 26, 1958.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter Cassy and Adam Bewcyk, his son Wesley Holmes and Monica Anderson, his Grandson Xavier and his Step-Daughter Krystal and Shawn Hart and Step Granddaughter Willow. Ronnie is predeceased by his parents Jean and Leslie Holmes of Queensborough, Ontario. He is survived by brother Bill and Doris Holmes, Sister Heather and Dana Creaser, Brother Matt and Debbie Holmes and Sister Nancy and Phil Foley, as well as, many Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews and his Ex Wife, Gwen Keller.
Ronnie worked as a linesman in both Alberta and Ontario, which led him to settle down in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He enjoyed his family and the outdoors.
Interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery on Monday, March 17, 2025. A Celebration of Ronald's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
