Allan Richard Bradshaw, age 82, passed away peacefully the evening of December 21, 2024 with his loving wife by his side.

Allan was born In Wayne, Alberta on August 21, 1942 to Richard and Louisa Bradshaw. He loved his early adventures in the Drumheller area fishing and hunting for dinosaur bones. When the Rosedale coal mine closed, his family moved to Calgary. He enjoyed his scouting experience earning the rank of Queen Scout. After graduating from Western High School, he attended SAIT for electronics. He began his career with Xerox and relocated to Thunder Bay where he opened Shel/Don Reproduction Centre and expanded to a second location in Duluth, Minnesota.

Everything he did in life, he did with great passion from his entrepreneurship to winter skiing to his camp on Oliver Lake. He built his camp and spent weekends with family and friends water skiing and wind surfing. Allan volunteered at various ski jumping events held at Big Thunder including the 1995 World Nordics. After retirement, his home and workshop were built at Oliver Lake. He spent many enjoyable hours in that workshop creating his next project or grading the driveway on his bulldozer. Retirement also gave him free time to boat on Lake Superior and become a winter snowbird in Texas. Cruises in Alaska and Europe and a trip to Hawaii were his travel highlights along with the time spent in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Allan was predeceased by his parents Richard and Louisa; wife Susan; sisters Nancy, Phillis, and Betty; and his brother Darell. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Jennett; children Roger (Zeny) and Heather (Andrea); step sons Craig and Brian; grandchildren Natilie and Henry; sister Lois; his children's grandmother Marjorie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per Allen's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Special thanks to the staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor for enhancing his quality of life this past year. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Neebing Fire/Rescue Association, Salvation Army, or the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society would be appreciated.
