Cathie Mintenko, age 82 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at TBRHSC with her friend Monica by her side on January 21, 2024. Born May 28, 1941 in England, she was raised and educated in England. She was employed as an OPE Clerk with TBaytel retiring in 2006 after 25 years of service. Prior to TBaytel, Cathie was employed at Chapples Department Store.
Cathie is survived by her brother Tom Collins and his family in Yorkshire, England. She is predeceased by her husband John Mintenko, parents Jimmy and Catherine Collins of Yorkshire, England and sister Agnes (Collins) Porter of Yorkshire, England.
Cremation has taken place. As per Cathie’s wishes, no service will be held and interment will take place at a later date in Yorkshire, England.
