It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Mr. Francesco Marino. On Monday, November 6th, 2023, at the age of 96 years, he died peacefully at Pioneer Ridge Long Term Care with a smile on his face.

Francesco was born on November 26, 1926 in Spadola, Province of Vibo Valentia, Italy. He was the third of 6 siblings. In hopes of a more prosperous future, he immigrated to Canada in 1954. They enjoyed taking many trips together to Italy, Australia and Acapulco. You could always find Francesco with a deck of cards in his pocket, ready to play a game of Scopa, Briscola or Tresette, gardening or gathering in his backyard with his friends and neighbours.
