It is with great sadness that the family of Lenard Edward Ager (Crash) announces his passing with his family by his side on August 15th, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Born on January 13, 1942 in Fort William (Thunder Bay), he lived in the city until 1993 when the family moved to the Stanley area. He worked for Palm Dairies from 1966 to 1983. Len had always wanted to build campers so in 1983 started his own business, Len’s R.V. Sales, until retiring in 2002.

In 1986, Len & his wife opened a seasonal Campground named Walk About Creek on Hwy 588 and after retiring in 2002 this was his hobby until his death. He will be greatly missed by all the campers.

Len will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret, of 61 years, son, Bradley (Sherrie), Rodney (Charmaine), his two grandchildren, Katelyn (Derek), Branden and his two sisters, Sharon and Janice, plus numerous other family members.

He was predeceased by his parents, Eva & Ted, sister, Garda, and brother, Gary.

Len loved to fish and hunt, camping and snowmobiling which he did for most of his life and he loved spending time with his family and friends. Len will be so missed by his constant companion, Koda, who has been by his side for 16 years.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Balec and Dr. Nigro for his care over the years. A special thanks to the staff & Dr. Teixeira for the short time Len was at St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Cremation has taken place and as per Len’s wishes, no service will be held. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
