August 15, 1958 - February 22,2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. Lynn passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, who held her hand until the very end.
Lynn worked for the Royal Bank for many years (Winnipeg/Nipigon) to then go on to opening her own restaurant The Kestitupa Cafeteria in Thunder Bay. Lynn semi-retired and went to work for Nucci’s Bake A Deli (Thunder Bay) before retirement.
Left to cherish Lynn’s memory is her loving husband Tom, daughters Stacey and Dayna (Dan); granddaughter Madalyn; mother Virginia; brothers Ward (Tracey) and Kevin; mother-in-law Vilma; nieces Carley and Tianna; nephews Mitchell, Cameron and Kyle; brother and sister-in-law Benny and Cathy.
She was predeceased by her father Keith; brother Cam, grandson Tito and father-in-law Bob.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and care teams at the TBRHSC for their exceptional care and compassion.
Special thanks to sister-in-law Cathy Gordon, Mike and John Daniar and Lou for going above and beyond to help the family through difficult times.
At Lynn’s request no service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Please remember her with love and fond memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
She will be forever missed and celebrated.
