It is with profound sadness that the family of Dianne Bukovy announces her sudden passing on August 28, 2023.
A beloved wife, loving mother, Nana and loyal friend, she brought warmth and kindness to all. Her journey through life was a testament to the power of love and resilience.
She was born on July 10, 1957 in Marathon, ON to Elgie and Everett Stoddard, and touched many lives with her generosity, kindness, quirky sense of humour and positivity.
A devoted wife to Ray she soon became a mother and was the heart of their family, creating a home filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. When grand babies came along, her life took on a whole new meaning as they were her pride and joy.
She loved nature and camping, especially with her Mirror Lake family, as well as spending time at her Florida home. Her hands were always busy crafting gifts of love for others, wherever she went.
Predeceased by her father and brother Bob, father and mother-in-law Ernie and Rita Bukovy. She is survived by her mother Elgie, husband Ray, daughter Amanda (Doug) Lloyd, son Chris, grandchildren Lacey and Corey, mother-in-law Sharon Bukovy and her beloved Miss Kitty. She is also survived by numerous family members in Nova Scotia, BC and Japan.

Her legacy of love, empathy and grace will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Thunder Bay District Humane society, or a charity of your choice.
Dianne, your white light will continue to shine through the memories you’ve left behind, as you fly with your own pair of wings. We’ve all been touched by an angel.
